What sectionals cost here
Sectionals at our store start at $500, and sofas start at $400. Price depends on the size, the shape, and the fabric, so the easiest way to see what fits your budget is to come in and sit on a few. Everything on the floor is in our furniture showroom, and we carry a lot of stock, so what you see is usually what you can take home.
Common sectional shapes
- L-shaped: two sections meeting at a corner. It's the most popular shape because it fits against two walls or floats in an open room.
- Sectional with a chaise: one end stretches out so someone can put their feet up. Good for smaller rooms that still want a lounge spot.
- U-shaped: three sides of seating. Great for big families and big rooms, but it takes the most floor space.
- Reclining sectionals: built-in recliners in some seats. They need extra space behind or in front when the seats are reclined.
How to measure your room
- Measure the wall or walls you want the sectional against. Write down the length of each side.
- Leave walking room. As a general rule, people like about 2.5 to 3 feet of clear walkway around furniture, and some space between the seat and the coffee table.
- Tape it out. Use painter's tape on the floor to mark the outline. It's the fastest way to see if a size feels too big.
- Check the path in. Measure the width and height of every doorway, hallway, and stair turn it has to pass. Sectionals come in pieces, so ask us how big the largest piece is.
- Note which side the chaise or corner goes on before you come in, so we can show you the right layout.
